Legal status, funding and limitations

What USTEDC is

A private corporation focused exclusively on U.S.–Türkiye trade, investment and industrial development. It is not a government agency of either country and does not exercise any regulatory, licensing or enforcement authority.

How it is funded

Through engagement fees, programme contracts, institutional partnerships and eligible economic-development programmes where USTEDC qualifies and is awarded funding. Any programme-funded work is identified as such in reporting.

What we do not do

We do not provide legal, tax, investment or customs-brokerage advice, and nothing published here is an offer of securities or a solicitation to invest. Counterparties must take their own professional advice before contracting.

How our data should be read

Historical figures are attributed to their source and carry a review date. Targets for 2027–2032 are planning objectives, not forecasts or guarantees, and are revised as evidence changes.

Independence and conflicts

Assessments are reported as found. No fee, membership or sponsorship secures a favourable finding, and conflicts of interest are declared in writing before an engagement begins.
